Jack Abbott grew up in the South Knoxville area and spent as much time as he could in the Smoky Mountains. He became a believer as a child and later made a commitment in high school to share Christ boldly. Doing so created a passion to see students grow in their faith.
Jack attended the University of Tennessee during the Peyton Manning era (and even caught a pass from him one day!). He's a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he developed a passion for theology, missions, and seeing students grow in their faith while serving others.
Jack loves backpacking, mountain biking, skiing, and travel. He and his wife Darlene have three children: Cade, Evan, and Vivian.
