Disaster Relief Training

 To pre-register for this class, contact Cassie Williamson at cassie.williamson@gracebc.org with your names and classes desired.

The credentialing fee is $40. This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID, hat, background check, and membership pin, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years.

To be fully credentialed, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.”

7:30 – 8:00 a.m.                 Registration
8:00 – 10:00 a.m.               Introduction to Disaster Relief (2 hour class)

10:00  – 10:15 a.m.            Break

10:15 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.    Chainsaw Operation & Safety
10:15 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.    Flood Recovery
10:15 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.    Mass Feeding (Part 1 of 2)

11:45 – 12:15 p.m.             Lunch – $6/person

12:15 – 1:45 p.m.               Flood Recovery
12:15 – 1:45 p.m.               Mass Feeding (Part 2  of 2)
12:15 – 1:45 p.m.               Rebuild

1:45 – 2:00 p.m.                 Break

2:00 – 3:30 p.m.                 Shower & Laundry
