Tabitha’s Table is a free, weekly hot meal served on Monday nights and provided as a community ministry to the Oak Ridge area. Begun by Robertsville Baptist Church almost 20 years ago, many of our church members continue to serve joyfully as cooks, servers, greeters, and van drivers.
Tabitha’s Table is a shared outreach with other local churches and a team of volunteers from Robertsville Middle School partnering together.
Tabitha’s Table is entirely supported by the voluntary help of many people. If a church or individual is interested in participating or making a contribution of time or finances, contact the church office for more information. We are always looking for help cooking, serving, and cleaning. The Fellowship Hall is handicap accessible. We do offer transportation; van pick-up is available by calling the church office.
The Clothes Closet is now open Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:30am.
Throughout the year donations are accepted. Please contact the church office for more information.
“Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies…” (Proverbs 31)
In a time where the world sends out mixed messages about the value of girls, we are determined to answer back with the truth of who we are in Christ: Beloved, Worthy, Chosen, Accepted, Blessed, and Purposed.
“Raising up Rubies” is a ministry of the RBC Women’s Ministry Team for girls ages 7-14(ish). Our desire is to come alongside parents and caregivers of young girls in our church and community to encourage and infuse hope into the next generation of women. We meet once a month to cook dinner together, laugh, praise, and uncover the truth of who we are in Christ.
Who: Girls ages 7-14 AND their parents and caregivers
When: 6-8 p.m.
2017 dates: January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12, November 9, December 14
